Tweedles in Japan

We were  so spoiled to fly business class all the way to Japan.  On the long flight (13.5 hours) we had these sweet cabins.  The chairs folded flat into beds.  We had huge tv's and could order food any time we wanted.  It was LEGIT! I'm not going to sugar coat the flight though.  Little Buddy started feeling sick to his stomach halfway through and was miserable for the remaining 14 hours of travel.  Thus, he made my life miserable.  he got airsick on our last flight and whined incessantly.  But, that's behind us now and we are excited to check out our new neighborhood. Due to jet lag we were awake at an obsurd hour so we went walking to explore.  There are three cool parks near our house.  The closest one has that gigantic slide I posted a picture of before.  The kids went down it lots of times even though it was wet from rain.  It's made of rollers (like on conveyor belts). So when we get to Japan the easiest way to contact us is through Facebook messenger or email. I’m keeping my cell phone but it will become long distance to call me.  We do have our Japan address and you can message me if you want it. We leave tomorrow morning to see Husband again!!! We can’t wait!!

Husband made it safely to Japan and found us a house!!! It's almost 1000 sq ft.  Three bedrooms upstairs.  It's smaller, but I guess it's in a super awesome neighborhood.  A couple parks are really close by. I'm so excited to get there and turn it into our home!! We heard there are a few people from New Zealand living nearby.  English Speakers!!  They are there to play for the Honda Heat- Suzuka's Pro Rugby Team!!  It's been a few years for me, but I think I can still talk a little rugby.  The Rugby World Cup is in Japan this summer.  I'd really like to get to a game if I can. In Japan people shower off before they get into the bathtub.  That's why the bathtub room looks like this... No idea what these buttons are for. The kids rooms connect onto a shared little balcony.  I think they'll like that. We don't think a dresser will fit in Little Buddy's room.  Husband says the rooms are super tiny. ...

So, we've sent out our 1st ocean shipment.  We separated everything out that we'd like stored while we are in Japan.  We are keeping some things in the house for my parents to use.  And we have one more ocean shipment and our air shipments. We worked hard to make sure everything was clearly labeled so the movers could do their job without asking us all of the time.  Plus then we won't have things getting packed that we actually wanted in Japan!! We had four movers here working most of the day and they got our house finished!!  Luckily we have the best neighbors ever and they kept our kids playing all day so they wouldn't get in the way.  And, since it was G-love's birthday she definitely needed to have some fun. We are so glad to get this packing done because there was too much stuff everywhere and it was hard to organize where things need to be.  It will make it difficult to live for three weeks without much stuff, but we can make d...
